Using SYNTELO
Terms of use
These terms describe how the SYNTELO app and website may be used and the responsibilities that come with an account.
Version: terms-2026-10 · Last updated: 18 October 2026
Who provides SYNTELO
SYNTELO is operated by RMY Holdings Ltd, a company based in the United Kingdom. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to RMY Holdings Ltd. These terms apply to the SYNTELO mobile app, related services and website. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information.
SYNTELO is intended for global availability, but features, app distribution and provider services may differ or be unavailable in particular places. You must use the service in accordance with laws that apply to you. Nothing here is a claim that every feature is available or legally cleared in every jurisdiction.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a SYNTELO account. SYNTELO is not directed at children. If you are under 18, do not create or use an account. Do not create an account for someone under 18 or let a person under 18 use yours.
The planned launch app requires you to confirm that you are 18 or over before account creation and, after sign-in, to confirm the current policies before normal app use. The server records that confirmation, its own timestamp, and the applicable Terms and Privacy versions. This is not identity verification and cannot guarantee that a person under 18 will be unable to access the service.
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly at support@syntelo.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity through your account to the extent permitted by law. Do not share credentials or use someone else’s account without permission.
Acceptable use
Use SYNTELO for lawful personal organisation. Do not use it to violate another person’s privacy or rights, impersonate anyone, submit unlawful or abusive material, send spam, interfere with service security or availability, attempt unauthorised access, or reverse-engineer or misuse the service except where the law permits. Do not upload content you do not have the right to provide or share.
When you connect with another person or assign an item, only share information that is appropriate for them to receive. Do not deliberately provide the special-category information listed in our Privacy Notice. We may use proportionate measures to investigate misuse and protect users, subject to applicable law and our privacy commitments.
Content you provide
You remain responsible for text, images, documents, audio, tasks and other content you choose to provide. You retain any rights you have in that content. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, transmit, display and share it as needed to provide the features you request, including AI interpretation and a connection or assignment you initiate. This permission ends when the content is deleted from the active service, subject to the retention limits described in our Privacy Notice.
Do not assume the service is a permanent archive. Keep your own copies of information you cannot afford to lose. Other people may retain information you have shared with them outside SYNTELO.
AI features, reminders and decisions
SYNTELO can interpret text, images and files and transcribe audio to help you create and organise items. AI-generated interpretations and transcriptions can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Review dates, names, amounts, obligations and other important details before saving or acting on them.
SYNTELO does not provide professional legal, medical, financial or other regulated advice. Its output is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Reminders, push notifications and calendar links are assistive tools; they may be delayed, missed, disabled or affected by device settings and third-party services. You remain responsible for important deadlines, payments, renewals, decisions and any independent checks you need to make. This does not remove any responsibility we have under applicable law for the service we provide.
Availability and third-party services
We aim to keep SYNTELO available, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may need to maintain, change or temporarily suspend features for security, reliability or legal reasons. We will give reasonable notice of material changes or prolonged interruptions where practicable.
SYNTELO relies on third-party infrastructure and services, including hosting, authentication, AI processing, mobile platforms, push delivery and optional device calendars. Their availability and relevant terms may affect a feature. Calendar events may also remain with your calendar provider after you delete a SYNTELO item or account. Our Privacy Notice describes relevant data handling. References to third parties do not remove obligations that law places on us.
Our intellectual property
We and our licensors retain rights in the SYNTELO name, branding, app, website and other service materials, excluding content you provide. We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable permission to use the service in accordance with these terms while your account is active. This does not transfer ownership of the service or restrict rights that applicable law gives you.
Suspension, termination and account deletion
You may stop using SYNTELO and request account deletion through the app. Our Privacy Notice explains what that process removes, what may remain in backups or with providers, and the limits around calendar events or information already shared with others.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a serious breach of these terms, protect users or the service, or comply with law. We may terminate an account where a serious or repeated breach cannot reasonably be resolved. We will explain the reason and give an opportunity to respond where practicable and lawful. Your statutory rights and any accrued rights or obligations are not removed by suspension or termination.
Subscriptions and payments
SYNTELO does not currently offer paid subscriptions or charge for its use. Before introducing a paid feature, we will provide its price, billing period, renewal and cancellation process, applicable refunds and taxes, payment provider, and any mandatory local consumer rights. No charge or automatic renewal will apply unless clearly disclosed and agreed.
Responsibility and your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights. We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill, as required by applicable law.
We are not responsible for a loss caused solely by information you entered incorrectly, a decision made without checking an AI interpretation or reminder, or a third-party service outside our control, except to the extent applicable law makes us responsible. Any limitation must be fair and lawful in the relevant jurisdiction. These terms do not set a monetary cap or attempt to exclude all liability.
Governing law and disputes
The laws of England and Wales govern these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live. A dispute may be brought before the courts of England and Wales, but this does not take away a right under applicable law to bring a claim in your local courts.
Please contact support@syntelo.co.uk first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. This does not limit any legal remedy or right to contact a regulator or court.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service, law or how SYNTELO operates. We will identify the current version and give appropriate notice of material changes. Where law requires consent or provides a right to stop using the service, we will respect that requirement. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights you have already acquired.
For questions about these terms or the service, contact support@syntelo.co.uk. Privacy enquiries can be sent to privacy@syntelo.co.uk.
